Enrollment and Registration

Enrollment in the English Language Institute (ELI) is open to students who have satisfied the criteria for admission and been accepted for enrollment in the ELI. All ELI students must be willing to uphold the values and ideals of the university. (Note: Enrollment in the ELI does not constitute admission or permission for enrollment in Faulkner University’s degree programs. ELI students that complete the English Language Institute’s program are academically qualified to meet Faulkner’s regular admission requirements.)

Students will not be allowed to register for IEP courses unless all conditions of the application process have been satisfied. Students who have satisfied all admission criteria will register for the IEP on Wednesday of the week before classes begin. Students are not allowed to register for classes after the fifth business day of each term.

Students enrolled in the IEP are required to pre-register for each successive module. Pre-registration for the next applicable IEP module ends 4 weeks prior to the next session orientation. Students who fail to preregister will pay a $100.00 late registration fee.

All new students to Faulkner’s IEP are required to attend a 2-day orientation program prior to the start of classes. Typically, students will register Wednesday before the program begins and the orientation program will be conducted on Thursday and Friday of that same week.

The 2-day orientation sessions make every effort to prepare IEP students for the realities, challenges, and opportunities that will encompass their IEP experience. The sessions are designed to open the door to everything that awaits IEP students at Faulkner University. Key to this orientation is a seamless transition from students varying backgrounds to studying at Faulkner and living in the USA.
