Spring 2021 Graduation

The date for the graduation ceremony is Saturday, May 1, 2021.

Faulkner University - Tine Davis Gymnasium - 5345 Atlanta Highway - Montgomery, AL 36109

Please be aware that as of the date of this announcement April 1, 2021, the University is uncertain as to precisely what requirements, if any, will be in place in the State of Alabama in terms of masking and social distancing and so forth. The University may be required to take more stringent measures than are listed herein; you should check here for updates. Even if the existing legal requirements are loosened, due to an abundance of caution on the University’s part, the university intends to follow the cautionary measures listed below to help reduce the risk of spreading the corona-virus. (If the University decides to relax or modify these measures, that information will also be posted here.)

For the safety of all who choose to participate as a graduate or guests, masks/face coverings are required to be worn at all times by anyone attending the ceremony. These masks must completely cover the nostrils and mouth.

All graduates and guests will go through a temperature check station before entering the gymnasium.  Nobody who has a temperature of 100.4 or higher will be allowed to enter.

Graduates may bring up to four (4) guests with them into the gymnasium for the commencement ceremony.  Additional guests may watch the ceremony on a screen provided in the Rotunda Auditorium.  Those guests will also be subject to passing a temperature check and will also be required to wear masks/face coverings.

Social distancing will be required between persons who are not members of the same household.

The graduates and their four guests must enter at the same time.  Guests will not be allowed to enter before or after the graduate has entered.  Anyone leaving the gymnasium after initial entry will not be allowed back inside.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

When arriving on campus, you will be directed to parking and the entrance to the gymnasium.  All graduates and their four guests will enter at the main entrance on the south end of the Tine Davis Gymnasium.  Please plan to arrive on campus in time to park and make your way to the gym no later than one hour prior to the start of your ceremony.
