About Dr. Matthew Sokoloski
Matthew Sokoloski is assistant professor of humanities. He received a Ph.D. in philosophy at the University of Arkansas, an M.A. in philosophy from the University of Mississippi, an M.A. in New Testament from Freed-Hardeman University, and a bachelor’s degree in biology from Freed-Hardeman. Sokoloski teaches the Western Cultural Heritage courses and also serves as assistant director of the Great Books Honors program.
Sokoloski’s areas of interest include philosophy of religion, epistemology and apologetics. He previously worked in international education by serving international students at the University of Arkansas for six years.
Because of his own experience as a student at a Christian college, it has been Sokoloski’s goal to return to a Christian college and be able to give back and contribute to the ideals of Christian education.
