The Library’s Mission

Gus Nichols Library is committed to life-long learning for living in an environment that fosters education of the whole person. The library supports Faulkner University’s mission through maintaining a broad range of quality learning resources and services. The library is committed to excellence in instruction, advancement of knowledge, and moral & spiritual values so that, through these efforts, enrichment of the community might be achieved. About the Library

Named for the Gospel preacher Gus Nichols, Nichols Main Library is at the academic heart of Faulkner University. The library houses over 300,000 volumes and provides study space for students.

Library services are currently located at the front of campus beside the Jones School of Law. Study tables, computers, a study room, and comfortable seating are available for student use. Our collection is currently housed offsite and students may request items from our collection using this form
