At present, Faulkner University is pursuing authorization to operate online courses in each state in which we are required to be authorized. This authorization will allow students from their respective state to take classes within our eCampus. We are currently set to operate in several states. Within the coming weeks, we will post a list of those states, as well as a detailed description of our authorization completion progress in the states in which must obtain authorization. Faulkner University is currently working with the state of Georgia to complete the Georgia authorization process. Once completed, Georgia students may apply to enroll in any of Faulkner’s online programs. Those students who reside in Georgia and take classes through the Faulkner eCampus have the privilege to seek assistance with a complaint through the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC). Below are the steps a student must take should they choose to pursue this route:
- Students who reside in Georgia and have a complaint must first “make every attempt to achieve a fair and reasonable solution” (per GNPEC’s rules) with Faulkner University. Students should follow Faulkner’s Student Complaint Process.
- Should the student deem the solution not fair and reasonable, they may file a complaint with GNPEC via their Authorized School Complaint Form.
- GNPEC will conduct a complete investigation, gathering information from both the student and the school, and come to a resolution as they see fit. As part of the authorization process, Faulkner University agrees to honor the decision of GNPEC.
