John Wooley accepted a position as a IT Systems Analyst at Sedgwick CMS after graduating from Faulkner in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in informatics. He was recently recognized as the Young Alumnus of the Year for the College of Arts and Sciences at the Alumni Honors Luncheon.
While at Faulkner he served as president of Epsilon Phi Upsilon, and he was a member of Cornerstone, the a cappella singing group, for three years.
After graduation, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee to accept a position as a Systems Analyst at Sedgwick CMS. In pursuit of a personal goal, he chose to join the United States Marine Corps as a Reservist. This enabled him to both continue to grow in his civilian career and serve the country.
In 2014 he married his wife, Emily and then accepted a position at FedEx in the audit department. There he was able to travel the world, gain hands on exposure to some of the most state-of-the-art technologies and log time in full motion flight simulators. He also recently obtained his Master’s in information systems management from Strayer University and returned to work at Sedgwick CMS as a senior IT Systems analyst.
