Faulkner University Announces New Church of Christ Heritage Award

Faulkner University is pleased to announce the launch of its new Church of Christ Heritage Award. This initiative underscores Faulkner’s longstanding commitment to serving Christian families by making faith-centered higher education more accessible and affordable, reinforcing our commitment to being a community where faith shapes futures.

The Church of Christ Heritage Award guarantees a minimum financial aid package of $12,000 per year to qualifying students who are members of a church of Christ. This award integrates federal, state, and institutional aid, ensuring a significant reduction in the financial barriers often associated with pursuing a private, Christian education.

“Choosing a college is both a financial and spiritual decision,” said Dr. Wayne Baker, Vice President for Traditional Enrollment at Faulkner University. “This award is specifically designed to offer families confidence—not only that a Christian education is within financial reach, but also that their students will be immersed in a community where faith, learning, and service intertwine seamlessly. At Faulkner, faith truly shapes futures.”

Established in 1942, Faulkner University continues its tradition of preparing students for meaningful careers and lives of faithful service. The Church of Christ Heritage Award is another step forward in Faulkner’s mission to nurture the spiritual and academic growth of its students.
