Faulkner University alumnus Page Clayton has dedicated his life to serving young people and helping families grow in their faith. A 2011 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies: Youth and Family Ministry from the V.P. Black College of Biblical Studies, Page now serves as the Youth Minister at University Church of Christ in Montgomery, Alabama.

Page works closely with middle school and high school students, walking alongside them and their families as they deepen their spiritual foundations. “I love working with the kids and their families to help them strengthen their faith and deepen their love for God,” he said.

His path to ministry began shortly after graduation. Page first served as a Faulkner Admissions Counselor before spending six years teaching high school Bible classes at Alabama Christian Academy. Those experiences fueled his passion for mentoring teens and supporting their spiritual growth.

Page has been married to his wife, Mary Beth, for 13 years. Together they are raising three young children, Bo (6), Will (3), and Isie Jane (2), and are also licensed foster parents in the state of Alabama. Outside of ministry, Page enjoys watching, coaching, and talking all things baseball, especially when it comes to the Cleveland Guardians.

Reflecting on his time at Faulkner, Page credits the university with shaping both his career and his walk with Christ.
“I loved my time at Faulkner,” he shared. “I owe a lot to Faulkner in preparing me for my career and for life, but also because I found my wife there too. My four years at Faulkner were incredible—the friendships I made are still some of my closest to this day, and the opportunities for growth educationally, personally, and spiritually were worth any cost.”

He especially treasures the impact of the professors in the V.P. Black College of Biblical Studies:
“Nearly every professor I had helped me grow spiritually and deepened and shaped my faith. I would not be the youth minister I am today without the encouragement and support I found at Faulkner.”
