New Research Resources:
The Philospher's Index is a bibliographic database with abstracts covering scholarly research in all areas of philosophy. The literature covered goes back to 1940 and includes journal articles, books, book chapters such as contributions to an anthology, and book reviews.

AccessScience is an authoritative and comprehensive database that provides students with an up-to-date, easy-to use gateway to scientific knowledge, from basic introductory material to extended article entries and live journal citations in key scientific areas including biology, Earth and environmental sciences, chemistry, physics and beyond.

Sports Medicine and Exercise Science in Video is now available! A great resource for Physical Education majors, it is the most extensive video collection ever assembled in the areas of fitness and health assessment, disease management, injury treatment, nutrition, medical fitness, sport science, work-site wellness, exercise adherence, and much more.

Circulating iPads:
The library now has iPads available for checkout. See the iPad Policy page for more details!

Interlibrary Loan Policy Update:
The Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Policy has been updated. See the ILL Policy page for more information. The most significant change is the library will no longer request current Faulkner University textbooks.

Media Support for Education Students and Faculty:
A company called Alexander Street Press is in the business of collecting the very best video resources in different topical areas and offering them to universities for curriculum support. Faulkner has enjoyed access to one of their products, American History in Video, for some time, and this past year we have added Education in Video. This new product
is the first online collection of streaming video developed specifically for training and developing teachers. It gives education faculty, students, and in-service teachers a single source for the best research-based professional development video resources available. Everything from Alexander Street Press is cross-searchable.

Exciting language software:
Mango Languages can make you conversationally fluent in any of the twelve languages to which Faulkner students, faculty, and staff members have access.
