Riley Hall, a 2024 graduate of Faulkner University, is already making an impact in the classroom and on the field as he pours into the next generation of students and athletes. He was recently recognized for his efforts at the 2026 Marketplace Faith Friday Forums on Faulkner’s campus where he was awarded as the Accomplished Alumnus by the Kinesiology and Exercise Science department.

Hall earned his bachelor’s degree in sports, recreation and fitness management and was actively involved in campus life during his time at Faulkner. He played on the Faulkner football team, served as the university mascot with the Faulkner cheer team and was a member of the campus social club Kappa Sigma Phi.

Today, Hall is in his second year teaching middle school history at Riverside Christian Academy, his high school alma mater. In addition to teaching, he serves as the school’s middle and high school athletic director and varsity head football coach. He previously assisted with both middle and high school basketball and football programs.

Hall said returning to Riverside Christian Academy has given him the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape him.

“I love my job because I get to give back to a community that has given so much to me,” Hall said. “I’m also grateful to have the opportunity to share Christ’s love every single day with my students and hope they can see the incredible things God has done for us.”

Hall credits his time at Faulkner with preparing him for the challenges and responsibilities he now faces as an educator and coach.

“I believe Faulkner prepared me well for my career by giving me the knowledge and skills to navigate many of the situations I face every day,” Hall said.

He said the relationships he built with faculty and staff played a major role in his development.

“One of the things that made my Faulkner experience so great is having professors who truly care about every student’s well-being and their spiritual growth,” Hall said. “That experience has encouraged me to be the same type of teacher, co-worker and coach.”

Hall said those connections have continued long after graduation. He often reaches out to former professors and staff members for guidance and advice.

“Having those relationships and that support system is priceless,” he said.

Hall is married to Libby Wright, also a 2024 graduate of Faulkner University who earned a bachelor’s degree in health science.

Looking ahead, Hall hopes to continue using athletics and education as a platform to mentor students and help them grow both personally and spiritually.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to share what God has done in my life through athletics,” Hall said. “My goal is to continue impacting students through faith, leadership and sport.”
