Minimum $12,000 in Total Aid for Members of a Church of Christ

At Faulkner, we are committed to our rich history as a university affiliated with the churches of Christ. That’s why we created the Church of Christ Heritage Award, an award designed to honor our faith family and make Christian higher education more accessible for families across the country.

  • What Is the Church of Christ Heritage Award?
    • The Church of Christ Heritage Award guarantees a minimum of $12,000 per year in financial aid to qualifying students who are members of a church of Christ. After applying federal, state, and institutional aid, Faulkner will cover the remaining difference, up to $6,000 per semester, with additional institutional support.
    • Most Faulkner students receive generous financial aid making Faulkner competitive with many state institutions while offering an education grounded in Christian values, daily chapel, and spiritual formation.
  • Eligibility Requirements
    • To qualify for the Church of Christ Heritage Award, students must:
      • Be a member of a church of Christ and submit a letter of verification on church letterhead from a minister or elder
      • Satisfy all admission requirements, remain continuously enrolled (Fall and Spring semesters) until degree completion, and maintain satisfactory academic progress
      • Live on campus during the academic year and enroll full-time
      • Submit the FAFSA and apply for all available federal and state aid
      • Receive a total aid package of less than $12,000 per year (excluding loans and work-study) after all federal, state, and institutional aid has been applied
      • Be a new traditional student, defined as anyone under 24 years old who has not been enrolled at Faulkner within the previous academic year
      • Not combine this award with any other institutional scholarship, discount, award, or grant
      • Understand that standard fees apply
