Faith Works Bible Study

Faith Works: A Study in James and 1 and 2 Peter

James reminds us, “faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead” (James 2:17). True Christian living is more than belief—it’s faith expressed in action, bringing blessings to others and glory to God.

The faculty of the V. P. Black College of Biblical Studies at Faulkner University have developed this study as a resource for deeper understanding of these biblical texts.

This study of James and 1 & 2 Peter is designed to help students, families, and churches explore how faith comes alive through works. Inside, you’ll find:

· Bible insights from each letter

· Discussion questions perfect for youth or adult Bible classes

· Exercises well-suited for homeschooling families seeking Bible credit

· Flexible study tools for Lads to Leaders/Leaderettes, Bible Bowl prep, or as a companion to the Faith Works Pearls book

Whether used in the home, classroom, or congregation, this resource invites students to grow in both faith and practice. Our prayer is that everyone who engages with these pages will come away with a deeper understanding of the blessings of faith—and the call to live it out in works.
