Program Overview

Faulkner’s Digital Media Certificate is a 16-week online program designed for adults and professionals to learn how to design and produce professional media content. Taught by 2-time Emmy award-winning designer and animator Tommie Lee Washington, students will gain hands-on experience with industry-standard tools and techniques.

Students will learn to create social media graphics, websites, mobile sites, motion graphics, edited videos, and printed media. Ethical use of AI tools in Adobe Creative Cloud is also covered.

As a bonus, students can attend a 4-hour in-person workshop with Professor Washington on Faulkner’s campus, though it is not required for certificate completion.
