CSI/Mock Trial Clinic
Faulkner University proudly welcomes middle school and high school students to campus for an immersive, hands‑on exploration of the criminal justice and legal fields.
Through engaging mock crime scenes, interactive legal case simulations, and guidance from our expert faculty and dedicated community professionals, students gain a unique opportunity to learn, investigate, and experience the world of law and justice up close. This dynamic program is designed to spark curiosity, build critical‑thinking skills, and inspire the next generation of leaders in criminal justice and legal studies. This project is made possible through the Eagle Soar 1 Grant.

Ages: 7th-12th grade
*Chaperones will be charged $5 per meal*
What to Expect
Students will step into the roles of investigators, attorneys, forensic specialists, and jurors as they participate in a series of interactive, real‑world learning experiences, including:
- Mock Trial Simulations – Prepare cases, present arguments, examine witnesses, and experience the courtroom environment firsthand.
- Crime Scene Investigation Techniques – Learn how professionals secure, document, and interpret crime scenes using authentic investigative methods.
- Evidence Collection & Analysis – Practice gathering fingerprints, analyzing clues, evaluating physical evidence, and understanding the science behind forensic discovery.
- Guest Speakers & Demonstrations – Gain insight from legal experts, law enforcement officers, forensic scientists, and other professionals who share real‑world stories, career paths, and practical knowledge.
These hands‑on activities give students a memorable and inspiring introduction to the world of criminal justice - right here at Faulkner University.
