Faulkner Law Alumnae Receive Promotions at Beasley Allen Law Firm

Four of Faulkner University’s Jones School of Law alumnae recently received promotions at the law firm of Beasley, Allen, Crow, Methvin, Portis & Miles, P.C.  Rebecca Gilliland (JSL’ 12), Leslie Pescia (JSL’ 13), and Stephanie Monplaisir (JSL ’11) were named Associates with the firm, and Danielle Mason (JSL’ 08) was named Principal.  In addition to these promotions, Alison Douillard Hawthorne (JSL ’10) was selected as Lawyer of the Year for Beasley Allen’s Fraud Section, and Parker Miller (JSL ’08) was selected as Lawyer of the Year for Beasley Allen’s Toxic Torts Section.

“We are incredibly proud of our graduates and their success at Beasley Allen, one of the nation’s top firms,” said Vice-Dean Rob McFarland.  “I am confident that they will continue to successfully serve their clients and contribute to the public interest.”

Beasley Allen was founded in 1979 by former Lieutenant Governor Jere Beasley.  It currently employs more than seventy-five lawyers, and represents plaintiffs and claimants in Business Litigation, Personal Injury and Product Liability, Medical Devices and Drugs, Fraud, Employment Law, and Environmental Law.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to advance at Beasley Allen,” said Associate Rebecca Gilliland.  “I began working here as a law clerk while still in law school and have now been with the firm just over four years.  To be afforded the opportunity to work at such a prestigious firm, while still in school, is something that few other law schools can offer.  That opportunity has opened up doors for me at Beasley Allen and I look forward to many more years at the firm.”
