Eagles Soar I Department

The Soar Center

Located upstairs in the multiplex, the Soar Center is your hub for academic and personal success at Faulkner University.

A welcoming space designed for both studying and collaborating with peers, this area offers a variety of resources to support your success. Students have access to tutoring, transition coaching, and Supplemental Instruction (SI), along with workshops and events focused on academic and personal growth. The space is equipped with computers, free printing, and quiet study areas to meet different needs, and coffee and snacks are available to help keep you energized throughout the day.

 

 

Academic Coaching

Transitioning to college can be challenging, but our experienced coaches are here to guide you. They’ll help you set goals, manage your time effectively, and develop strong study skills for a smoother college journey.

Tutoring

Need help with coursework? Free peer tutoring is available weekly in subjects like Accounting, Business, English, Math, and more. Night tutoring is also offered to accommodate busy schedules. Visit the Soar Center upstairs in the multiplex to connect with a tutor and access academic support.

Supplemental Instruction

Struggling with challenging courses like Physics, Exercise Physiology, Perspectives of Biology, or Finite Mathematics? SI offers free weekly study sessions led by peer leaders who simplify tough concepts and share course-specific tips to help you succeed.

Faulkner Mentors

Connect with peer mentors, faculty, staff, professionals, and alumni through our mentoring program, designed to foster social involvement and academic success. All students are welcomed and encouraged to attend events sponsored by Faulkner Mentors.
