Partnership Agreement with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice

• The agreed upon rates between Faulkner University and TDCJ include fees, many books (see below), and represent a tuition discount of roughly 65%. Tuition rates vary across programs, so this may or may not be an exact percentage in your program.*
• Special all-inclusive rates have been established for TDCJ. Employees will pay only $235 per semester hour for undergraduate programs and $325 per semester hour for graduate programs. See program exclusions below.
• All or some electronic textbooks are included in the agreed upon rate for TDCJ employees. However, some required textbooks are not included and must be purchased by the student. Click here for more information.
• This offer cannot be combined with any other institutional discount, award, grant or scholarship, but may still be used in conjunction with state or federal financial aid, including loans and grants, if eligible.
• The employee must provide proof of employment with TDCJ prior to initial enrollment.
• Officers may receive up to 28 semester hours of credit toward the bachelor's degree in criminal justice for law enforcement academy training.

Exclusions

Offer does not apply to Faulkner Law (Jones School of Law), the College of Health Sciences, M.S. in Management with Business Analytics, Information Technology, Data Science, or AI emphases, or to anyone entering as a traditional student on the Montgomery campus. Faulkner reserves the right to exclude additional programs without further notice.
