This annual event invites notable public figures and nationally recognized personalities to speak, drawing a broad local audience. Past speakers have included U.S. Presidents, international heads of state, athletes, astronauts, and journalists, all of whom have left lasting impressions on the community.This year\u2019s featured speaker is Candace Cameron Bure, a dynamic force in the entertainment industry and a role model for women of all ages. Best known for her iconic role as D.J. Tanner on Full House and Fuller House, Bure has also earned an Emmy nomination as a co-host on The View and has starred in numerous beloved family films, most recently including, Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case for the Yarn Maker.An award-winning actress, producer, New York Times bestselling author, and inspirational speaker, Bure is equally known for her philanthropic heart. She actively supports organizations such as Skip1, The Salvation Army, Compassion International, and Miracle of Mobility.
