B.S. in Criminal Justice

For students interested in careers in law enforcement, corrections, private security, and legal professions, we offer a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice that provides the essential knowledge and experience for entering these exciting criminal justice fields.

Program Objectives

The Faulkner University Department of Criminal Justice and Legal Studies offers a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice that’s designed for students who wish to seek employment with criminal justice organizations and law enforcement agencies. Our curriculum integrates Christian ethical and moral perspectives with the typical values systems associated with criminal justice and provides a broad-based program of study, including topics that are essential for entering the wide range of fields associated with criminal justice systems.

UNDERGRADUATE

Admission Requirements
  • Must be a high school graduate with a regular or advanced diploma or have a GED certificate
  • If out of high school for less than five years, ACT (minimum 18 composite) or SAT (minimum 970) scores are required. ACT or SAT scores are not required for anyone having graduated high school more than five years ago.
  • ACT or SAT scores are not required for transfer applicants with a minimum of 24 transferable hours from a regionally accredited college or university.

Program Information

Courses are taught by criminal justice faculty who can offer expertise to our students because of their real-world experience working in various criminal justice fields. Our faculty is recognized by peers for their knowledge and effectiveness as instructors.

FAQ

What is Rolling Admissions?

The program evaluates PTCAS verified applications from June 15th until May 1st. This means that we conduct interviews both in the fall and spring semesters. Rather than admitting applicants all at once, we make admission decisions throughout the year.
