B.S. in Biochemistry

Biochemistry explores biological systems through the lens of chemical molecular analysis.

Program Objectives

Studying biochemistry opens the door to a bright future not just in scientific fields but also in healthcare, agriculture, forensics, pharmaceuticals, and more. At Faulkner University, our Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry degree program provides a comprehensive education with strong foundations in scientific concepts, as well as cultural literacy, communication, and the fundamentals of our Christian faith. Admission Requirements
  • Must be a high school graduate with a regular or advanced diploma or have a GED certificate
  • If out of high school for less than five years, ACT (minimum 18 composite) or SAT (minimum 970) scores are required. ACT or SAT scores are not required for anyone having graduated high school more than five years ago.
  • ACT or SAT scores are not required for transfer applicants with a minimum of 24 transferable hours from a regionally accredited college or university.

FAQ

What is Rolling Admissions?

The program evaluates PTCAS verified applications from June 15th until May 1st. This means that we conduct interviews both in the fall and spring semesters. Rather than admitting applicants all at once, we make admission decisions throughout the year.
