This one-day seminar introduces HR professionals to the essential concepts of employment law and how these principles affect day-to-day workplace practices. Seminar Schedule

Morning Session

Afternoon Session

Introduction to major employment laws such as Title VII, Pregnancy Discrimination, Equal Pay Act, and religion in the workplace.
Discussion of emerging issues including affirmative action, employment torts, and social media.
Case study workshop applying legal concepts to common HR situations.
