Faulkner University will host the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life on the John Mark Stallings Field from 9 p.m. Nov. 2 to 9 a.m. Nov. 3.
Relay for Life is an overnight community fundraising walk. Teams of people camp out around the field while members of each team take turns walking around its perimeter. The Family-friendly event offers food, games and activities.
“We're so excited to be launching the Relay for Life season! Thanks to (Faulkner University), the Relay For Life movement will continue to help save lives from cancer and provide support services to cancer patients and their loved ones - around the world and right here in our own community,” said Jessamyn Boyd, community representative for the American Cancer Society.
