Smith works primarily with banks and healthcare organizations including \u201chospitals and health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, outpatient services companies, private equity firms and other healthcare investors.\u201dSmith graduated summa cum laude with his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2016. He was also the recipient for the Ellen Brooks Merit for Public Service in 2016, a distinction awarded to fellows who exceed thirty hours of public service work during their law school career. During his time at Jones Law School, Smith acted as the Executive Editor for the Faulkner Law Review and was also a part of a national honorary organization called Order of Barristers.Thirty seven attorneys from Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis were selected exclusively by their peers in order to be showcased on the \u201cOnes to Watch\u201d list.
