Annual Giving

Levels of Jones School of Law Annual Fund Gifts:

An individual is recognized as a member of one of the following giving societies based on the total of his/her contributions to the Jones School of Law Annual Fund during a given fiscal year (June 1-May 31):

  • Founding Partner – $25,000+
  • Senior Partner – $10,000-$24,999
  • Partner – $5,000-$9,999
  • Senior Associate – $2,500-$4,999
  • Associate – $1,000-$2,499
  • Counselor – $500-$999
  • Barrister – $250-$499
  • Advocate – $100-$249

Cumulative Giving

Levels of Jones School of Law Cumulative Giving Gifts:

Individuals, law firms, corporations, foundations and organizations are recognized for the sum of their cumulative lifetime contributions in support of the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law. Their consistent and generous support demonstrates their commitment to the tradition of yesterday and the vision of a brighter tomorrow. Gifts for all purposes (Annual Fund, endowment, building, etc), including corporate match, are counted toward membership in the following law school Cumulative Gift Societies.

Cumulative Lifetime Gift Amount

  • Dean’s Circle – $1 million +
  • Of Counsel Society – $500,000-$999,999
  • Justicia Society – $250,000-$499,999
  • Partners for Excellence – $100,000-$249,999
  • Judge Walter B. Jones Society – $50,000-$99,999
  • 1928 Charter Society – $25,000-$49,999

Planned Giving

The Heritage Society

The Heritage Society is the donor recognition society that honors alumni and friends who, in addition to their annual contributions, support Thomas Goode Jones School of Law through their planned gifts. Members are recognized both during their lifetime and after death.
