How to Apply
Faulkner Law will accept applications from September 15th, 2013 until June 15, 2014. The Faulkner Law admissions staff encourages you to submit your application as early in the admissions cycle as possible. After June 15, contact our office to determine if any late applications will be accepted.
- Register for the CAS (Credential Assembly Service) with LSAC (Law School Admissions Council).
- Register for and take the LSAT (Law School Admissions Test).
- Submit your Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law application.
- Submit your personal statement electronically with your application. The personal statement is a 2-3 page paper that expresses to the Admissions Committee why you are a strong candidate for Faulkner Law. Use this paper to highlight experiences, skills, perspectives or passions that you believe will contribute to your success in law school.
- If you marked "yes" to any of the Character and Fitness questions (questions #24-31), you must attach an addendum with your personal statement providing further information about the incident.
- Any other documents you wish to provide (resume, additional addendums) may be attached to your application along with your personal statement.
- The $50.00 application fee must be paid before LSAC will release your application.
- Letters of recommendation are welcome, but not required. If you choose to include letters of recommendation, please submit them through LSAC's site.
- You may submit the online application before you have completed your CAS profile or taken the LSAT, but we will not review your file until you have completed all steps.
