Courses teach the craft of teaching but also reflect the spiritual character of Faulkner University.

Clinical Experiences

Traditional Masters certification programs do require field and clinical experiences during the school day and can be completed in a local school convenient to your location. Our Director of Clinical Experiences can help work with you and your schedule to meet this requirement.  An internship is not required for a Traditional Masters degree.

Clinical Experiences are designed to integrate the College of Education’s Conceptual Framework, content knowledge, professionalism, pedagogical knowledge, skills and professional dispositions. These attributes are assessed through the Field Experience Form B. P-12 personnel complete the Form B evaluation on each candidate’s dispositions and interaction with candidates while placed under their observation. Candidates submit this evaluation via an electronic portfolio.
