For these decisions at a large scale, we need to learn to coexist with an exponentially-increasing technology in the most efficient way possible, a way that adds a critical dimension to our own decision-making process. Among the first in the world Artificial Intelligence experts, Scientific Director and SVP of Artificial Intelligence at Dataminr, Alex has always worked to bring to life products that put humans at the centre of the experience with machines. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Now, educators must balance the expectations of students who want to learn more about AI and its practical applications with its possible effects on student cognition, but what are those effects of AI on student cognition? Is there a way to leverage it to be useful in the classroom? While in many ways it has been vilified in the media, AI does have a place in the classroom if we are careful and intentional with how we are incorporating it.Check out this video to learn more about the cognitive effects of AI.Potential Tools:ChatGPTReferencesEssel, H.
