Benjamin Lazo

Benjamin Lazo joined Faulkner University in April of 2022. He earned his MBA in Management and MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, along with his BA in Psychology from Faulkner University.

He is an Iraq Surge combat veteran and culminated his military and government service career by managing all logistics for the U.S. Southern border crisis under the Trump administration. He comes from 17 years as a Logistician via the Army, Army Reserve, and as a government service civilian. During his time in the Army Reserves he owned his own business in advertising (graphic design), conducted quality control and assurance for manufacturing, and did a myriad of management and consulting positions within the corporate sector.

In addition, he has spent a number of years as an Adjunct Instructor, time as a Course Developer, and is twice published through the International Academy of Business & Public Administration Disciplines (both times having presented findings at the annual Dallas, Texas conference).

Ben has stated that he is excited to work at Faulkner because it allows him to share “lessons learned” with others in order to assist in increased faithfulness, accomplishment and purpose within the student body for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
