Configuring Windows XP Home Edition to Connect to the Internet
The process will only connect you to the Internet. It does not connect you to the Faulkner network and it does not give you access to Faulkner file space.
In order to use your Internet connection, you must have the necessary software to either browse the Internet or to perform other Internet functions.
In order to access Grades or Account information make certain you are using Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher.
Creating Your New Connection
Click on Start, then Control Panel.

Click "Network Connections

Click "Create a new connection" in the upper left.

Read the Welcome screen and click "Next."

Select "Connect to the Internet."

Select "Set up my connection manually."

Select "Connect using a broadband connection that is always on."

Select "Next"

Select "Finish."
You should now be able to access the Internet using your computer.
