More than thirty-seven periodicals and twelve lectureship proceedings issued by members of the churches of Christ are included in the Restoration Serials Index . Only major articles and book reviews are indexed. Short items are excluded, with the exception of obituaries. Poems, prayers and “filler” items are also excluded.
The Index is arranged alphabetically by author and subject. Bible entries are in alphabetical order of books within the New Testament and Old Testament. Obituary notices are found under “Obituaries” and review articles may be located under the appropriate headings (i.e., Book Reviews, Film Reviews).“See” references direct the user from unused forms of entries to the established form. “See also” references indicate related subjects where additional information may be found.
