HONDURAS MISSION TRIP

January 3-10, 2005

 

Purpose of the Trip

This trip was a fact finding trip in preparation for a possible summer mission trip for Faulkner University students and faculty in conjunction with the church at La Grange, Georgia along with John and Pat Hendry who were our resource people while in Honduras.  Students and faculty used this trip to visit villages in the Agalta Valley region and arrange activities that assisted the mission efforts in that area.  The students enjoyed teaching opportunities and building projects along with activities that allowed the students to encounter the culture to raise their awareness of the need for missions.
