| Regularly, students from the Great Books Honors College, under faculty supervision, take expense-paid, educational trips to various locations. Thus far, normal destinations have included Atlanta, Georgia (for visiting the Emory University Museum and the not-to-be-missed Atlanta Braves baseball game) and Washington, D.C. (for visiting such well-known places as the Capitol, Arlington National Cemetary, and the Holocaust Museum). Additionally, in 2005, the Honors College plans to take its first trip to the seats of classical literature—Greece and Italy. |
