Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing.
Lawyers have a distinct duty to help others and serve others. Because lawyers are entrusted with their clients' interests, and in some cases, their clients' lives, it is important that lawyers conduct themselves competently and ethically. The faculty and administration of Thomas Goode Jones School of Law recognize this high standard and promote a Christian environment that encourages all members of the Law School community to use their abilities to advance the legal profession and benefit society. We hope that you find our law school to be a perfect fit for you.
To be eligible for consideration an applicant must meet the following requirements:
- An applicant must complete a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a satisfactory undergraduate record. An application for admission filed during the senior year of college, prior to receiving a degree, can be approved by the Law School, subject to the applicant's receipt of the degree before registration in the Law School.
- Each applicant must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT). If a student takes the LSAT multiple times, the law school will use the highest score. Each applicant must also register with the Law School Data Assembly Service (LSDAS) and provide official transcripts to LSDAS.
The School of Law is accepting applications for the fall semester of 2010. You may contact the Admisisons Office with questions.
The Admissions Committee will act on an applicant's file as soon as it is complete. A complete applicant file contains a signed application, $30 application fee, LSDAS report, and a personal statement.
