Faulkner is currently raising 1.6 million dollars for construction of the football stadium to complete the football and soccer complex that includes the John Mark Stallings Field and the Leopold D. Lee Fieldhouse. The proposed stadium will hold 3500 people with the home stands facing east. Its entrance at the north-west corner of the field will feature a full-length, life-size bronze statue of John Mark Stallings and his “pop,” coach Gene Stallings, walking hand and hand. The stadium will be one of the most visible venues on campus bringing hundreds of guest onto campus increasing school spirit, and adding to the reputation of the University.
