The Library’s Mission

Gus Nichols Library is committed to life-long learning for living in an environment that fosters education of the whole person. About the Library

Named for the Gospel preacher Gus Nichols, Nichols Main Library is at the academic heart of Faulkner University. The library houses over 300,000 volumes and provides study space for students. Located on the eastern side of campus, parking is available both at the front of the building and on the east side. A book drop is located near the parking lot at the entrance of the building for after-hours book return. During open hours, please return books to the Circulation Desk.

Group study tables are located on the first floor and quiet study space is on the second floor. Materials used in the library, but not checked out, should be placed on tables or book carts; please do not reshelve the books.
