Faulkner's Jessica Monarch has been named a 2011 NAIA Honorable Mention All-American for women's soccer.

The senior center back from Orlando, Fla., helped lead the Lady Eagles to the Southern States Athletic Conference semifinals where they fell to eventual national champion Lee.

Monarch was recently named a Capital One NAIA Academic All-American and claimed the SSAC Defensive Player of the Year honor. She was a two time conference Defensive Player of the Week winner this season and led the team in scoring with nine goals.

She is a three time conference all-academic team member and a two time NAIA Scholar-Athlete.

This is the first athletic All-American honor for the women's soccer program.
