Eagles handle the Hawks

Oct. 19, 2007

Montgomery, Ala. – After an upsetting loss to Reinhardt earlier in the day, Faulkner rebounded in their match with cross-town opponent Huntingdon College. The Eagles were able to eliminate the Hawks in three games 30-12, 31-29, 30-21.

The Hawks also fell to Reinhardt in five games just prior to their match with Faulkner. Reinhardt finished the day 2-0, while Huntingdon split matches and finished 1-1.

The Eagles managed to rest many of their athletes by running different rotations with multiple personnel. The Eagles will now face region rival Loyola University. The Wolfpack beat the Eagles in four games in the second match of the season. The Eagles look to turn the tide tonight with a win over Loyola that should boost their standings in Region XIII.
