Career Record Broken

Montgomery, Ala. - Senior liberio Carrie Butler recently broke the Faulkner volleyball career dig record with 2,815. The previous record was set in 2001 by Britney Furiegh with 2704. Butler was ranked fourth in the career digs category coming into the season. She also holds the season dig record which she set in 2005 with 930.
Butler has been named Conference Libero of the Week twice this season already as well as Region XIII Libero of the Week. With eight regular season games yet to be played and the conference and region tournaments on the horizon, Butler will undoubtedly continue to prove one of the most pivotal players in the history of the Faulkner volleyball program.
