Montgomery, Ala. - Senior outside hitter Brittany Harden received the Southern States Athletic Conference Player of the Week award today. Harden had a phenomenal weekend at the annual Faulkner Invitational tournament. She completed the event with a hitting percentage of 0.578 killing 67 of 109 attempts. She also leads the conference in total kills with 301 and ranks third overall with a season total hitting percentage of 0.309.

     The Eagles played in four matches against Florida College, Freed-Hardeman University, Southeastern University and Pensacola Christian College. Faulkner finished the weekend 3-1 with their only loss coming at the hands of the 20-1 Freed-Hardeman Lady Lions who are contenders for a spot in the NAIA Top 25 poll this week. 

     This is the third SSAC and fourth overall player of the week award for the Eagles this season.
