Faulkner went up against one of the strongest teams in the conference tonight in Lee University. The Flames entered the match at 19-6 and after eliminating the Eagles in three games bumped the win column to 20. Faulkner rallied late in set one, but the rest of the evening was all Flames 25-21, 25-16, 25-11.

Senior Takieta Clark gets a kill in game three

     The Eagles struggled on all fronts tonight. The defense had trouble putting the ball up and the offense struggled against a big block and a scrappy back row. Lee had its pitfalls too, but was able to rebound. The Eagles, once deflated, never regained their steam.

Senior Holly Hutcheson hits it hard cross for the point

     Quick leaders for the birds were LaTanya Daniels who had seven kills, hitting .286 and Kimber Holt who had six kills. Holly Hutcheson had 10 digs, five kills and a pair of blocks.

     The Eagles drop to 14-15 overall and 6-7 in the conference. Faulkner will take on Brewton-Parker in Mt Vernon, Ga., on Monday at 6 p.m. CST.
