Still no solution for the Vikings

Senior Holly Hutcheson and the Eagles try to regroup in game three
November 7
The Eagles hosted conference powerhouse Berry College tonight in the Freeman-Harrison Student Multiplex. It was Faulkner's last regular season match of the year and the birds were looking to go out with a bang. After jumping out to a marginal lead late in game one, it looked like the home team would control the match's tempo. But rapid fire from the Lady Vikings pushed the opening set to extended points and ultimately toppled the Eagles. Berry held on for three straight for the second time this year winning 26-24, 25-18, 25-19.

Junior middle Kimber Holt throws a big block in game two

In game one, however, the Eagles proved they could hang with the visitors, even into extended points. What happened between game one and two? The answer to that question is the key to unlocking this young team's potential.
