Eagles No. 24 in NAIA poll

The Faulkner University softball program found itself in the No. 24 position this week in the third NAIA Top 25 poll of the season. The Eagles are currently looking to extend a five-game winning streak after consecutive series sweeps against conference rivals Emmanuel College and Southern Wesleyan University. The Eagles will enter a doubleheader with Spring Hill in Mobile, Ala., this afternoon.
Faulkner continues to face a challenging schedule as they take on No. 4 Mobile and No. 16 Shorter over the next few weeks. The Eagles are currently first in the Southern States Athletic Conference and will host second ranked Reinhardt College at home this weekend.
The Eagles are 16-15 overall and 7-3 in the SSAC.
