Jimmerson named NAIA Pitcher of the Week

Faulkner’s Emily Jimmerson has been selected as the NAIA Softball Pitcher of the Week. She secured the honor after brilliant performances in two consecutive games last week.
Jimmerson was named the SSAC Pitcher of the Week on Monday after recording a pair of wins including a no-hitter against Reinhardt College. The freshman struck out 15 batters in 12 innings and allowed no hits. She pitched five innings in a relief effort against Spring Hill and struck out seven batters for an 8-1 victory. She recorded eight strikeouts against conference foe Reinhardt in the 2-0 win.
