After winning the first game in today's series, the Eagles looked to move their winning streak to 10 games. After a back and forth battle however, the Eagles walked in the go-ahead run in the seventh inning and were unable to answer in the 4-3 loss.

Jama Hanna was 2-3 with an RBI in the second game and Eden Harris was 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Samantha Kendrick (3-3) held the circle for the Eagles through all seven innings. The junior allowed seven hits and three earned runs and added a pair of strikeouts.

Faulkner (20-17, 12-8 SSAC) will travel to Mt. Vernon, Ga., on April 14, to take on conference rival Brewton-Parker College. The doubleheader is scheduled for 1 p.m. CST.
