September 15
Faulkner University swept this week's women's soccer Players of the Week awards with their 4-0 victory over Southern States Athletic Conference rival and top seed Southern Wesleyan University. The win also catapulted the Eagles into second place in the SSAC standings.

Nikki Jagt
The Eagle's offense was led by senior forward Nikki Jagt who secured the Offensive Player of the Week honor with a pair of goals and an assist. The scores were also significant career markers for the Burlington, Ontario native as they represented her 99th and 100th career goals. Jagt joins an elite group of only 12 other female athletes who have scored more than a hundred career goals in the NAIA.

Lisa Gallea
The Defensive Player of the Week award went to sophomore goalkeeper Lisa Gallea, a fellow Canadian from Hamilton, Ontario. Gallea had 15 saves to secure the shutout against the Lady Warriors.
The Eagles are 3-0 on the year and 1-0 in league play. Faulkner will host another conference rival in Brewton-Parker this afternoon at 3 p.m. at the new Dalraida facility in Montgomery.
