Jeff Ireland - Head Women's Coach

Jeff Ireland is entering his second season as the head coach of the women’s soccer program at Faulkner University.
The native of Searcy, Ark., played collegiate soccer at Harding University for two years. In that time he earned all-conference honors and was named to the all-conference academic team. He was also selected as the conference player of the week numerous times.
While a Bison, Ireland was selected as a Verizon Academic All-American as well as an NSCAA Adidas first team all-region player in 2002.
After earning a degree in Psychology from Harding, Ireland moved to Honduras where he played for the professionaly for Club Vida in Le Ceiba.
A year later he returned home were he began working on a master’s degree at the University of Central Arkansas. He played soccer for UCA as well, and helped lead the program to an Elite Eight appearance in 2004. Ireland graduated with a Master’s in Business Administration in 2005.
After graduation, Ireland again left the country to play soccer professionally, this time in Guyaquil, Ecuador. He played for nearly a year before an injury forced him to return home.
