Faulkner to honor Bagley, Wright on Senior Day
November 5
The senior night festivities honoring offensive lineman Caleb Bagley and wide receiver Chandler Wright will begin at 5:50. Kickoff of the game between the Eagles and Bethel is set for 6.
Bagley is from Chatsworth, Ga., and attended Murray County High School. He transferred to Faulkner from Campbellsville University in Kentucky. Wright is from Dallas, Texas, where he attended Carrollton Christian Academy. Both Bagley and Wright are working toward degrees in education and both plan to be coaches.
On Bagley, Nichols said, “Caleb is a strong leader, and it’s too bad the injury bug got him because he is a good one. He was one of the guys who came in during the fall of 2006 when we first announced the program. He is a hard-nosed player who always did what we asked of him.
On Wright, Nichols said, “Chandler works hard and has a wonderful attitude toward the game of football and life. He wants to be a coach and he knows it and out and will be a good one.’’
Faulkner, 2-9, is coming off a 26-15 homecoming victory over West Virginia Tech, its second victory in a row. The Eagles close out their season on Nov. 15 at Virginia-Wise.
