Jim Sanderson's Faulkner basketball camps are scheduled for June at Tine Davis Gymnasium and the Freeman-Harris Student Multiplex. Session 1 is a fundamentals camp for boys ages 6-11 and is set for June 9-13 from 8 a.m. to noon. The cost is $110. Session 2 is a fundamentals camp for boys ages 12-18, while Session 3 is a fundamentals camp for girls ages 12-18. Both are scheduled for June 16-20 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the boys camp in the multiplex and the girls camp in the gymnasium. The cost is $150, and lunch will be provided. Session 4 is a perimeter play camp for girls ages 12-18, while Session 4 is a perimeter play camp for girls ages 12-17. Both the boys and girls perimeter play camps cost $150 each and are scheduled for June 23-27 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The boys perimeter camp will be in the multiplex and the girls perimeter camp will be in the gymnasium. Lunch will be provided for all perimeter campers. All attendees of coach Sanderson's camps will receive a regulation Eagles basketball, a camp t-shirt, a 2007-2008 Faulkner basketball team poster, a sports bible, a motivational & workout booklet and a written individual evaluation. Skills coach Sanderson and his staff will concentrate on include shooting technique and drills, ballhandling, passing and receiving, live-ball drills, lay-ups and free throws, defensive technique and mental approach. There will also be shooting games, 3-on-3 games and 5-on-5 full-court competition. ONE DAY EXPOSURE CAMP … new for 2008! (PLEASE pre-register – limited space available!)

IMPORTANT NOTE: The girl's camp scheduled for July 1 has been canceled!

Head coach Jim Sanderson and his staff are hosting the inaugural ONE DAY EXPOSURE Camp for rising high school seniors. The camp will offer participants a full day of evaluation by college coaches. This camp is for boys and will be held on June 30. Registration for both camps begins at 8 a.m., with the camp beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. The cost is $75 per camper. Lunch is provided. There will be half court 3-on-3 play in the morning session and full court 5-on-5 play in the afternoon session. Each player will receive a reversible T-shirt and a complete individual evaluation.
