Faulkner pulls away for victory

The Eagles (13-3) trailed 22-13 at the 9:46 mark of the first half, but a pair of Jeremy Lunn 3-pointers sparked an 11-0 run that resulted in a 24-22 lead just 1:30 later. Faulkner never trailed again, building a 48-34 advantage at halftime.

Faulkner began the second by outscoring the visitors 22-8 in the first six minutes and were never threatened again. The Eagles largest lead came at 78-47 with 7:34 to play.

Pensacola Christian (6-7) committed 31 turnovers in the game.

The Eagles placed five players in double figures with Lunn leading the way with 17 points. Bryant Murray added 14, while Aaron Greenwood chipped in 12 and Jammie Evans and Ernest Jordan 10 apiece.
