2007 Basketball Recruits

Reggie Dupree - JR 6-0 Guard - Gadsden, Alabama - Gadsden State CC
Dupree is a combo guard with versatility. Dupree averaged 11 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. He also led the team in steals and shot 55% from the floor, making him second in scoring on the team. Dupree was an all-area and first team all-state performer while at Cherokee County High School. Dupree finished his sophomore season at Gadsden State and ranked in the top 20 in steals, assists and field goal percentage in the state of Alabama.
Irving Gray, Jr. - FR, 6-0, Guard - Birmingham, Alabama - Wenonah HS
Gray was a two-year starter at Wenonah High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He helped lead his team to a 22-11 record his senior year and earned MVP honors at the Area Tournament as Wenonah won the Championship. Gray was also selected to three all-tournament teams. As a senior he averaged 15 points, seven rebounds and four steals per game. He served as team captain his senior year and was named the Team's Most Outstanding Player.
DaeArtis Halliburton - JR, 6-7, Forward - Springfield, Illinois - Parkland CC
Halliburton was a part-time starter for coach Chris Warren at Parkland Community College for two yars. He played two years of basketball at Lanphier High School in Illinois where Philadelphia 76ers guard Andre Iguodala once played.
De Hereford - FR, 6-0, Guard - Hazel Green, Alabama - Hazel Green HS
Hereford was a three-year varsity player for Hazel Green High School in northern Alabama. He was the starting point guard his senior season when the team finished 25-6 with a region championship. Hereford averaged 16 points per game and earned all-area and all-area tournament team honors.
Durell Richardson - JR, 6-5, Forward - Manhattan, NY - Snead State CC
Richardson was a blue collar forward for Snead State Community College where he averaged eight points per game and led his team with just over seven rebounds per game. He served as the team captain and was ranked 15th in the nation last year. The 6-5 Manhattan native recorded five double-doubles and served as team captain his sophomore year. Richardson was married July 19, 2007, to Sharde Richardson.
Jonathan Walker - JR, 6-2, Guard - Lancaster, Texas - McLennan CC
Walker is a strong, physical guard who played on back-to-back North Texas Junior College Conference Championship teams at McLennan Community College. Walker played at Carter High School in Dallas, Tex., for famed coach Robert Wright. In his senior year his team finished with a 34-5 record and earned a trip to the Texas High School Final Four. He averaged 12 points and five rebounds per game.
